SHOESTRING selected to create patient safety campaign website, marketing plan

BOSTON — The National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF), selected SHOESTRING to serve as its marketing agency for National Patient Safety Week as well as help launch a new ongoing campaign. The United for Patient Safety campaign is designed to spark dialogue and promote action to improve the safety of the health care system for patients and the workforce. A key component of the campaign is a new website (UnitedforPatientSafety.org)  which was developed by SHOESTRING using the NationBuilder platform. Those who wish to take part in the campaign can use the website to honor a loved one affected by medical error, download educational materials, post pictures, share their plans for Patient Safety Awareness Week, and more. Patients, families, and consumers are encouraged to take part in the campaign by pledging to be active members of their health care teams by participating in care decisions and asking questions. In addition to the website and other campaign elements, SHOESTRING created the campaign slogan “Every Day is Patient Safety Day” and created logo usage and design guidelines. More information about the campaign and how to take part is available at UnitedforPatientSafety.org. ###   Screen Shot 2016-02-08 at 5.31.16 PM
