International Association of Forensic Nurses

With more than 3,000 members and 25 charters, the International Association of Forensic Nurses was in need of a nonprofit branding partner to help facilitate its comprehensive rebranding process. The catch was many of the 3,000 members were opposed to a rebranding. Members were content with their outdated brand identity and each charter presented their own unique charter logo that breached the principles for delivering a cohesive branding strategy for the organization. This was a challenging project, but one of The Shoestring Agency’s major service values is our ability to foster participation across an organization so everyone can be involved and voice an opinion. We implemented two rounds of our proprietary branding surveys with the IAFN staff, board and 3,000 members. When the results of the survey reports provided objective findings that supported a new brand strategy and specific concept, then we fulfilled another crucial value – facilitating an organization to consensus on a new revised brand name and identity.
